General information and baubook services
baubook is basically designed in such a way that manufacturers enter their products themselves. Companies who would like to hand over the administrative work to baubook, baubook now also provides supporting service packages. The liability for the correctness and completeness of the data remains with the manufacturer even if the data is entered by baubook GmbH. Quality assurance is carried out in the same way in both cases. The information provided by the manufacturers is then checked by baubook for completeness and plausibility, summarised and entered. The quality assurance is carried out by a different QA employee when the data is entered by baubook. If the composition of the products changes, the manufacturers are obliged to report these changes immediately to baubook, i.e. they are obliged to update the data in the baubook database as well (see GTC). These changes will be checked again. For this, change costs will be charged.

Entry service: Product entry by baubook
The registration of your products can be done by baubook GmbH on request. The entry will be made according to the information and documents provided. On the basis of these, the product group(s) will be assigned. The criteria and attributes (product characteristics) relevant for the products result from the product groups.
The following documents are mandatory in their current version:
- Technical data sheets
- Safety data sheets (including precursors)
- If required, a current manufacturer's confirmation* for individual criteria according to info sheet ?
if available:
- Current test certificates (especially regarding emissions, e.g. Emicode)
- Current eco-label certificates (e.g. Austrian Eco-label)
- Current sustainability data sheet, environmental product declaration (EPD)
- A declaration of compliance from the actual manufacturer if you source a product or ingredient externally but use it under a different name
The manufacturer's confirmation is prepared by baubook in the course of the registration of the product information of the submitted information. As a result of the registration you will receive a summary, which you send back to baubook signed by your company.
Costs
The costs for the registration of your product(s) will be calculated and offered individually, as the effort depends on the product group, the information provided, the preliminary work done by yourself and the number of products and criteria to be registered. The average price for registration per product is around 150 euros. Please note that there are additional costs for quality assurance and listing your products (see also Prices and Costs).
Quality assurance and product listing
After registration, the product declaration(s) will be completed. The further procedure corresponds to the usual procedure of a baubook product declaration. Quality assurance is carried out by a member of staff who has not registered the products (dual control principle). After the quality assurance, the product(s) will be activated and listed on all baubook platforms for which there are corresponding criteria. At the time of active product listing, the respective listing fees apply.

baubook additional offer: company platform or company presentation
Manufacturers have the possibility to operate their own manufacturer platform on baubook. On this platform, the products listed on baubook are presented exclusively and clearly. In addition, further contents (sales structure of the company, current information, download area, etc.) can be added.
