Declaration
baubook is a web portal for building products and components.
All registered products benefit from the central declaration centre, which is necessary in the context of tenders, building certifications and subsidy systems. In the declaration centre, the building-ecological and building-physical guideline and characteristic values are displayed and the criteria for them are explained. Manufacturers can enter their products independently. baubook then validates and publishes the quality-assured data. These are made available to programme manufacturers and published on other databases.

Many eco-programmes recognise the declaration on baubook as proof. You deposit your test certificates and verifications once in the baubook declaration centre and decide which test certificates you want to publish. After a successful quality check by the baubook team, your product data is available to all interested parties on the baubook platforms free of charge.

Every week, more than 10,000 visitors inform themselves about recommended products on the baubook platforms.
The basic data for the energy and building certificate are downloaded around 1,500 times a month by experts and consultants. These data are used to calculate the energy and ecological performance indicators of many buildings.
Presenting product qualities in the same way
Products are presented in the same way on baubook and can be compared with each other using the "Favourites" function or the free component calculator.
This makes it easier for planners, building applicants and building contractors to decide on an ecologically recommendable building product. On average, interested people click on building products 10-12 times a week.
