Softener

Softeners are substances with a boiling point over 250°C which are added to coating materials to increase the elasticity of the coating (EN 971-1). The softeners used in construction chemicals include e.g. adipic acid ester (adipate), glutaric acid ester (glutarate) and maleic acid ester (maleinate)
