NEW: The baubook version archive
With its publicly accessible version history, baubook now offers all users transparency and traceability regarding changes to the declared product data. baubook users can view past versions of product data in the version history and compare them with one another.
The version history documents changes to the product data contained in the baubook export interface V3:
- Product index
- Name
- Description
- Category (product group)
- Manufacturer
- Assigned reference value
- Declaration date
- Date of amendment
- Environmental indicators (life cycle assessment data, circularity indicators)
- Building physical characteristic values (e.g. thermal conductivity, U-value, density, thickness)
- Window and component structures
Whenever this data is amended, a new daily version of the product is archived. This makes it straightforward to compare old and new versions and to quickly trace changes. The version archive dates back to 23 May 2025. If there is only one version in the archive, the data has not been amended since then.

The baubook version archive is integrated into the V3 export interface, making the daily retrieval of data even more convenient.
