Copyrights and rights of use
Please note the legal requirements and conditions that you, as a manufacturer, must fulfil when uploading product images and other files to the baubook platform. This is necessary to avoid legal problems and to maintain the integrity of both your products and the baubook platform. The most important points are summarised below:
- Property and usage rights
As a manufacturer, you must ensure that you own the necessary rights to all files (photos, graphics, PDFs, etc.) that you upload to baubook. This means that you are either the author of the files or have the author's explicit permission to use and publicly share these files. - Respecting copyrights
It must be ensured that the rights of the author are not violated. This includes that copyright information is provided correctly and completely and that the use of images and documents fully respects the rights of the author. - Avoiding legal disputes
By uploading the files, you assume responsibility for ensuring that all legal conditions are met. Should any legal disputes arise due to copyright infringement or missing rights of use, you agree to indemnify baubook GmbH against any claims, costs, damages and legal disputes and thus to hold baubook GmbH harmless.
