Cost overview 2027
The baubook product declaration is free of charge and can be used to check criteria at any time. The initial quality assurance of product data by baubook and publication on the baubook web portal, including data export, are subject to a fee. The ‘product service & publication fee’ includes ongoing quality assurance of products. Product updates can be carried out free of charge at any time. All changes are validated and quality assured by baubook. The product service & publication fee is charged on a daily basis (from the date the product is activated) until the end of the current year. Publication is automatically extended for another year – unless automatic renewal is deactivated or the product is deleted beforehand. All services will be combined into one invoice wherever possible and sent by email. Fees already incurred cannot be refunded, even in the event of a negative review.

Pricing models for retailers
| Model A) Tiered pricing model – the cost-effective solution for retailers selling up to 95 products: The tiered model is aimed at retailers with a small number of products on offer. For 95 or more products, the Retailer Premium Package is more cost-effective than the baubook tiered model. Billing is automatically processed using whichever model is cheaper. |

Model B)  From 1 January 2027, we will be expanding the retailer tiered pricing model to include attractive premium packages. Retailers with a larger product range (95 products or more) will automatically be placed in the most cost-effective premium package (S/M/L/XL) in 2027, thereby benefiting from attractive unit prices and additional included services. |

For the initial invoice, tooling costs are calculated on a day-by-day basis and charged on a pro rata basis against the annual costs. Subsequent years are invoiced on a full-year basis. The contract may be terminated at any time up to 31 December. Any year that has already commenced will be invoiced in full. No refunds will be given. We offer students free full versions for use in Master’s and diploma theses (registration and proof of enrolment required).

All prices are in euros plus VAT at the statutory rate. For the first invoice, the fees are calculated to the day (14 days from the order date) and charged pro rata to the annual costs. Subsequent years will be invoiced on a full-year basis. Cancellation of the contract is possible until 31 December. Years already started will be invoiced in full. There will be no reimbursement.
