The aim of the Amortisation and Profitability Calculator (AWR) is to calculate the ecological amortisation of insulation measures, especially in renovation. The focus is on a life-cycle view - the costs for the production of the insulation system are compared with the savings in heating or shown together in diagrams. This joint consideration makes it easy to see the ecologically optimal insulation thicknesses. Different impact categories such as primary energy content (renewable/non-renewable), greenhouse and acidification potential as well as the eco-indicator OI can be selected.

In addition, the economic efficiency of these measures is shown. The indicative prices are intended to provide an initial estimate. However, the calculation is also possible with individual prices. All framework conditions for the calculation (interest rates, price increases, etc.) can be individually adjusted. The Vorarlberg housing subsidy can also be taken into account. The results are output per square metre and year in each case.

Free use

Five typical wall and ceiling constructions are available for selection free of charge and can be calculated with a wide range of insulation materials, energy sources, service lives and costs. Up to four different superstructures can be compared. Default values facilitate the calculation.

Professional version (fee required)

Users of the professional version of the baubook "Amortization and Profitability Calculator" (AWR) can enter their own superstructures in addition to the example constructions and save the evaluations.
